Ros Wills has set herself an incredible goal to raise £60k for Cancer Research this year, in memory of her beloved husband Andrew and Lentells are proud to have donated to such an important cause.
Ros has arranged a number of fundraising events and challenges to raise as much money as possible for Cancer Research, including a 24-hour golf marathon, annual club golf day, barn dance and grand finale ball.
Lentells were delighted to support Ros in her mission to raise £60k for Cancer Research by sponsoring the annual 'Andrew Gadd Memorial Challenge Cup' which took part on Saturday 6th September at Oake Manor Golf Club with 125 golfers taking apart. The day was really successful with the current grand total raised being over £24,000!
Commenting on the day, Ros said "Another fantastic fun day of golf in memory of Andrew. The weather was kind to us although strong winds prevented any high scoring. Due to the generosity of both the raffle prize sponsors and those who bought tickets we raised a further £1,850 for Cancer Research UK. This has taken my target of £60k for my 60th birthday year over £24,000 which is amazing! More fun events coming up including the 'grand ball' in February where I hope as many people will join me in a night of celebration!"
Donations are still being accepted online. If you'd like to donate please use this link - https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/60000-for-my-60th-birthday-year
