Lentells are delighted to announce that our recent Macmillan Coffee Mornings across our offices raised an incredible £725.50 for the charity, smashing last year's total.
Our Seaton office held their event on Wednesday 24th September and hosted a cake sale event for members of the local community. Alongside the cake sale, tickets to our firm-wide raffle were sold, with the star prize being a hamper from Barleymows Farm Shop. The event ran in the office, from 10.30am to 3pm and we received a steady flow of visitors throughout the day, getting involved with our fundraising efforts and adding to our final total.
The Seaton event was organised by Louise Johnson, who said 'We would like to thank everyone who took time out of their day to call into the Seaton office to attend our cake sale for Macmillan. Thanks to our staff who baked cakes, and to those who donated to help us raise a fantastic amount for a great cause.'.
Staff across our Chard and Taunton offices held a Macmillan Coffee Morning on Thursday 25th September, hosting a cake sale, firm wide raffle and a fun-filled round of 'Pin the Cherry on the Cupcake'. The winners of the cherry game was Steph from our HR team in Chard, and Katrina from our Business Support Team in Taunton.
Raffle tickets were snapped up leading up to the grand draw in the afternoon, with prizes generously donated by Lentells and staff. From gift vouchers to bottles of wine, to card games and sweet treats, the prize table was stacked with goodies. The lucky winner of our star prize was Connor from our IT team.
Speaking on the event, Ed Paull, commented 'We're thrilled with the generosity and enthusiasm shown by our staff. The coffee mornings were filled with delicious treats and laughter at the 'pin the cherry game'. A huge thank you to everyone who helped organise and took part in the day.'.
